Originating from the South Island, Kingsley Turner completed an LLB at Canterbury University before embarking on a career in finance with Marac Finance. Lending management roles in Auckland, with several NZ bank and non bank lenders, followed before he established GTF Capital in 2000. With GTF Capital, Kingsley set-up and ran various lending businesses and structured funding for a wide range of property projects and investments. Following the sale of GTF Capital, Kingsley began Property Finance NZ with Blair Brooks and Ian Laywood.
Kingsley is married with two children attending Otago University. He lives in Auckland enjoying all that it’s coastline has to offer but still makes time to head back to the South Island for some skiing, mountain biking and shooting.
In the mid 1970’s Ian Laywood began his banking and finance career with The National Bank of New Zealand, thereafter spending forty years working for several financial services companies. Ian consults to Property Finance NZ and specialises in construction and development finance and has advised on many projects throughout New Zealand including commercial, retail, apartment, marinas, low rise residential, subdivisions and hotel projects. Ian has acquired a vast and diverse amount of experience working with trading banks and non-bank lenders on projects from two to three unit townhouse developments to multi-million dollar hotel and apartment projects.
Ian is married with two grown up children and three grandchildren. He enjoys motorcycle adventure touring, and cycling.
After attaining a Bachelor of Management Studies with honours from Waikato University, Blair Brooks began his finance career with Ford Credit and then Bank of New Zealand before joining GTF Capital and meeting Kingsley Turner. With twenty two years spent funding a wide range of properties including residential, commercial and industrial investments, multi-unit residential and commercial developments as well as large-scale land development and subdivisions Blair has the extensive experience needed to deliver tailored funding solutions for your projects.
Blair enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding with his two daughters.
